Yao Xi Tong Capsule for sciatica hypertrophic thoracic inflammation

ACTIONS
Stimulate the circulation of the blood and cause the muscles and joints to relax,removing stasis to ease pain,invigorate the circulation of flooding wind.

INDICATIONS
For rheumatoid arthritis, hypertrophic lumbar inflammation, hypertrophic thoracic inflammation, cervical spondylosis, sciatica, lumbar muscle strain.

INGREDIENTS
Radix Angelicae Dahuricae, Himalayan Teasel Root, Radix Saposhnikoviae, Radix Aconiti Kusnezoffii Preparata, Radix Angelicae Pubescentis, Radix Acanthopanacis Bidentatae, Radix Notoginseng, Radix Clematidis, Radix Gentianae Macrophyllae, Radix Stephaniae Tetrandrae, Caulis Piperis Kadsruae, Cortex Eucommiae,Heterosmilax japonica, Radix Polygoni Multiflori, Herba Taxilli, Radix Angelicae Sinensis, Rhizome Rhizoma Drynariae,Carthamus tinctorious, Rhizome Rhizoma Homalomenae, Radix Paeoniae Rubra, Cassia Twig Ramulus Cinnamomi,Paracetamol.

USAGE AND DOSAGE
Oral after meals,2 capsules per time,thrice daily.

ADVERSE REACTION
1. Digestive system: nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, stomach pain, bloating, abdominal pain, diarrhea and so on.

2. Nerve and nervous system: dizziness, headache, numbness and so on

3. Skin and its accessories: rash, itching, sweating and so on

4. Cardiovascular system: heart palpitations, blood pressure fluctuations

5. Respiratory system: chest tightness, difficulty breathing and so on

6. Others: Visual abnormalities.

CONSTRAINDICATION
1. Hypersensitivity to this product should not use.

2. Pregnant and lactating women constraindicated.

3. Severe heart disease, atrioventricular block, high blood pressure patients constraindicated.

4. Ethanol poisoning, liver disease disabled; disabled liver and kidney dysfunction patients constraindicated.

PRECAUTION
1. Aspirin allergy patients generally do not have an allergic reaction to this product. However, there are a few patients reported to have bronchospasm after taking this product among those with asthma due to allergy to aspirin.

2. Alcoholism, liver disease or viral hepatitis, the product has the effect to increase the risk of liver toxicity.which should be used with caution.

3. Renal insufficiency patients long-term use of large quantities of this product, there is a increased risk of renal toxicity,which should be used with caution.

4 .Take the medicine due to pain, shall not be used continuously for more than 5 days. Antipyretic therapy can not exceed 3 days unless otherwise ordered.

5. After taking the goods, if appear erythema or edema symptoms should be immediately discontinued.

6. Keep out of reach of children, in case of excessive medication, should seek medical care immediately.

7. The product is only symptomatic treatment of drugs, when use the product at the same time, as much as possible for etiological treatment.

8. Diagnostic interference:

(1) Determination of blood glucose, the use of glucose oxidase / peroxidase assay available false low value, but with hexokinase / 6-phosphate dehydrogenase method was no effect;

(2) Determination of serum uric acid, the use of phosphotungstic acid method can be measured false high value;

(3) determination of urine 5-hydroxyindole acetic acid (5-HIAA), with nitrite denitrifying agent for qualitative screening test obtained when the pseudo-sexual results, quantitative tests are not affected;

(4) liver function tests, high-dose or long-term use, prothrombin time, serum bilirubin, LDH, serum aminotransferase can be increased.

DRUG INTERACTIONS
1. Long-term alcohol consumption or the use of other liver enzyme inducer, especially in patients with barbiturates or anticonvulsants, long-term or large doses of this product, the more the risk of liver toxicity.

2. This product combine with chloramphenicol can prolong the latter half-life and enhance its toxicity.

3. Combined with anticoagulant, can enhance the anticoagulant effect, it is necessary to adjust the amount of anticoagulant.

4. Long-term massive use of aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, there is a significant increase in the risk of nephrotoxicity.

5. Combined with the antiviral drug Zidovudine, can increase its toxicity, should be avoided use at the same time.
